Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Website forms: name, e-mail, phone, your message, the trip you are interested in.
• Instagram Direct messages and comments: your username, profile name, message text, date and time. We receive them through the official Instagram API when you message our account @vibespirit.travel.
• Booking data: passport details and contacts needed to arrange the trip (only after you confirm participation).
• Technical data: anonymised visit analytics (Vercel Analytics) and Meta Pixel to measure advertising.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and send information about a tour or charter.
• To follow up if a conversation goes quiet (no more than twice).
• To arrange the booking and perform the contract.
• To understand which pages and ads work better.

Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps prior to it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interest in communicating with customers (Art. 6(1)(f)), and your consent for marketing (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Instagram and Meta

We use Meta's Instagram API to read messages sent to our account, reply to them, and see account statistics. We do not send automated messages: every reply is written by a person. We do not share your messages with third parties and do not use them to train algorithms.

Meta processes data under its own privacy policy. You can restrict access at any time in your Instagram settings.

Who we share data with

• Website and database hosting: Vercel, Supabase (EU/US, standard contractual clauses).
• E-mail delivery: Resend.
• Meta Platforms (Instagram, Facebook) for messaging and advertising.
• Trip partners (yacht companies, hotels, instructors) receive only the data needed for your participation.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and conversations are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact; booking records for as long as Portuguese tax law requires (up to 10 years). Analytics is anonymised and not linked to you.

Your rights

• Get a copy of your data.
• Correct or delete it.
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Portugal: CNPD).

How to delete your data

E-mail info@vibespirit.travel with the subject “Delete my data” or message us on Instagram @vibespirit.travel. We will erase your data from our systems within 30 days and confirm by e-mail. Data we must keep by law (booking accounting) will be blocked from any other use.

Cookies

The site uses strictly necessary cookies plus analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel). You can disable them in your browser settings.
