A yoga retreat in the Azores is not just a vacation — it's a deep journey into your inner world for those who seek harmony, physical and mental well-being, renewed energy, and a closer connection with nature and themselves.
Under the guidance of an experienced master, you will immerse yourself in the transformative practice of Iyengar yoga, meditation, and pranayama.
You will enjoy a sound healing session, allowing you to sink into gentle sound vibrations for deep relaxation, stress relief, and the restoration of inner balance.
This retreat is ideal for beginners just starting their yoga journey as well as experienced participants looking to deepen their practice.
Day-by-day program

After a morning yoga practice and breakfast, we head to one of the most breathtaking spots in the Azores — the Sete Cidades volcanic crater.
We start with the Vista do Rei viewpoint, offering a panorama over two lakes — one blue and one green. Also here is Monte Palace Hotel, a former five-star complex that stood abandoned for a long time and was recently acquired for reconstruction.
Then — a short hike along the crater's rim amid green slopes and laurel trees, offering views that stay in the memory for a long time.
After the walk, we go for a swim at a unique spot where the ocean is warmed by underwater geothermal springs. The warm water, mixed with cool ocean water, creates an incredible sensation of relaxation and renewal.
In the evening — return to the hotel and free time.

The morning starts with a yoga practice to help assimilate the entire journey of these days and preserve inner peace at heart.
After breakfast we head to Lagoa do Fogo — one of the most impressive lakes in the Azores, lying in the crater of an extinct volcano. Here reigns silence, space and primeval beauty that one simply wants to contemplate.
Then — bathing in the hot springs of Caldeira Velha, among dense tropical vegetation. This is a natural place for deep relaxation — the water is warm, rich in minerals, ideal for the body after active days.
In the afternoon — a yacht cruise along the coast, where we'll try to spot dolphins and, if we're lucky, blue whales that migrate past the Azores at this time of year. This is a unique chance to encounter the planet's largest creatures right in the middle of the Atlantic.
On board — light snacks, an informal atmosphere, conversation and a casual farewell party on the waves, under the sound of wind and the setting sun.

The last morning in the Azores we greet together — a yoga practice at dawn will be a gentle conclusion to our journey. Soft light, fresh air and the first rays of sun help to consolidate the state of harmony and calm that we built throughout the retreat.
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we'll have a little free time for a stroll through the streets of Ponta Delgada — the main city of São Miguel. You can have a coffee in an atmospheric café, buy souvenirs or simply enjoy a few more moments in this magical place.
In closing — a shared farewell lunch, an exchange of emotions, embraces, laughter and… already plans for future trips. It's often here that ideas are born for new meetings — in new corners of the planet, with the same people, in a similar spirit.
To conclude — an organised transfer to the airport.
We return home with phones overflowing with "Instagram-worthy" photos, with hearts full of new connections, and with experiences that will remain with us for life. This isn't just a trip — it's an experience that transforms from within.
