Yachting the Caribbean Islands: Martinique
The enchanting atmosphere of a Caribbean gem
Palm trees, turquoise water, golden and black beaches, fiery sunsets… Martinique is a tropical paradise, the living breath of Creole history, where contemporary art intertwines with traditions rooted in the Middle Ages.
Day-by-day program

Martinique is called the "island of flowers," and Columbus called it "the most beautiful place on earth." This is where our New Year's Caribbean yacht adventure begins. After landing at FDF airport or from a hotel (if you arrived earlier), we head to Le Marin marina. Boarding the catamaran, meeting the crew, captain's briefing. We recommend dinner at the Indigo Factory restaurant right in the marina.
*Boarding from 17:00

Early in the morning we head to Saint Lucia — a jewel of wild nature with jungles, thermal springs and incredible flora and fauna. This place is a true treasure for nature lovers and local cuisine enthusiasts.

Today we'll see the island's main natural landmark — the Piton Mountains, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Formed by the crater of an ancient volcano, these mountains are breathtaking in appearance. Petit Piton, Gros Piton and Morne Bonin create an incredible landscape.

We sail to Bequia island — the "Cloud Island." Along the way we stop in a bay on Saint Vincent, where you can swim, walk to waterfalls and black lava beaches. Fishermen may catch dinner for the whole crew.
On Bequia — the Old Hegg sea turtle sanctuary, a whaling museum and enchanting sunsets.

Mustique is a private island with no ferries or cruise ships. You can only get here by yacht. There are just 114 villas here, owned by stars — Mick Jagger, Bryan Adams, the British royal family.
Along the way — a stop at uninhabited islets.

We head to Wallilabou Bay, where the first part of Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. The movie sets are still standing, and the atmosphere of real pirates is everywhere.

We return to Martinique. Stops at scenic coves for swimming, snorkelling and practising yacht handling skills.
For dinner — a farewell meal at a Caribbean restaurant or a disco with local rhythms.

Tanned, happy and with phones full of photos, we say goodbye to the captain and crew. Then — transfer to the airport or hotel, if you want to stay in paradise for a few more days.
