About the route

Embark on a week-long yacht journey through central Dalmatia — one of the most beautiful regions of Croatia. This area is known as the ‘Croatian Riviera’ or the ‘Saint-Tropez of Croatia’ — and for good reason. Five islands await you, along with turquoise bays, wine tastings, white-sand beaches, sea caves, vintage convertibles, and vibrant local culture.

Itinerary

Day-by-day program

Day 1. Split

We begin our journey in Split — the second largest city in Croatia. We check in to our yacht and take a stroll through the historic centre with Diocletian's Palace (UNESCO). In the evening — dinner at a restaurant with local cuisine.

Day 2. Brač Island

After breakfast we head to Brač Island. We'll stop for a swim in blue lagoons. The night can be spent in the port of Milna with dinner at a trattoria, or drop anchor in a peaceful bay near the town of Bol. Here is Zlatni Rat beach — the "Golden Cape," which resembles the Maldives. For the active — quad bikes or scooters to the highest point of the Adriatic — Vidova Gora.

Day 3. Hvar and the Pakleni Islands

We enjoy the turquoise coves of the Pakleni Islands — straight out of a postcard. Then — Hvar Island, one of the sunniest and most fashionable islands in the Adriatic. Dinner, cocktails at a beach bar and a night out at the legendary Carpe Diem. Overnight — under the stars in a cove.

Day 4. Vis Island

Vis is nature, peace and wine. We explore old military tunnels, ride mopeds, taste wine at a winery. The ideal place to escape from the tourist hustle.

Day 5. Stiniva Beach

Morning — swimming at the beach voted best in Europe by European Best Destinations. Turquoise water, a narrow entrance, cliffs on both sides. You can try fishing here — catch your own dinner.

Day 6. Biševo and Šolta

The longest sail — to the "olive island" of Šolta. We visit the Marchi family castle and have lunch at a restaurant only accessible from the sea. Along the way — a stop at the Blue Cave on Biševo Island. The vivid blue water will amaze you. There's a chance to swim in the Green Cave too.

Day 7. Return to Split

We return to Split, enjoying the sunset on board. Last evening — a celebratory dinner at a restaurant and plans for the next yacht adventure.

Day 8. Return Home

Last breakfast on the yacht. A swim in a private cove, farewell to the crew, and transfer to the airport. You return home with a beautiful tan, bright memories and new yachting skills.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about a Yacht Tour in Croatia (Split, Hvar, Vis)

A yacht tour in Croatia is a week-long route with accommodation on board, island-hopping passages, and marina stops. The route from Split is considered the most popular as it includes the islands of Hvar, Brač, and Vis — some of the most beautiful in the Adriatic.
Chartering a full yacht or catamaran for 6–8 people in Croatia ranges from €2,000 to €8,000 per week, which typically amounts to €400–1,000 per person for 7 days depending on the season and type of vessel. Meals, fuel, and marina fees are paid separately.
A license is only required for self-sailing in Croatia. Most tourists choose a yacht with a skipper, so experience and a license are not needed — this is the most popular and safest option.
The best time for a yacht vacation in Croatia is from June to September. June and September are optimal for weather and tourist numbers, while July and August represent the peak season with maximum activity and warm sea.
A yacht tour in Croatia suits groups of friends, couples, and travelers who want to combine sea, islands, and an active vacation. The format is suitable for adults and children from 4 years old and is an active sailing adventure rather than a classic resort holiday.
A yacht vacation in Croatia is often a more cost-effective alternative to a hotel, especially for groups and families. Cabin accommodation is comparable to hotel rooms in comfort, but you also get privacy, your own itinerary, and the unforgettable experience of island-hopping.
